Peter Schiff, one of Bitcoin's staunchest critics, says he wishes he had bought some Bitcoin, regardless of his views on Bitcoin's long-term prospects. Schiff, a well-known stockbroker and gold investor, recently said that he had studied Bitcoin as early as 2010, when the price of Bitcoin was about a few dollars, but he did not see its investment value at the time.
On Wednesday, Schiff debated cryptocurrency investor Raoul Pal on the Impact Theory podcast about whether Bitcoin would go to $1 million or go to zero, saying: “Do I wish I had decided to invest $10,000, $50,000, $100,000? Thousands of dollars? The answer is yes. If I didn’t sell, these Bitcoins might be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. But, I don’t know what I would have done if I had made that decision.” (CoinDesk)
