Tigran Gambaryan, a previously detained Binance executive, has filed a lawsuit against Nigeria’s National Security Adviser (NSA) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), alleging violations of his rights and seeking five major remedies from the court. His lawyers argued on human rights grounds that the seizure of his international passport violated the constitution and infringed on his personal freedom, and urged the court to return his passport and release him immediately after more than three weeks.
In addition, he asked the court for an injunction prohibiting his detention in similar investigations in the future, and for a public apology from the national security adviser and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. (CoinGape)
