BONKbot issued an article on the X platform stating that BONKbot itself is safe, but vulnerabilities have been triggered elsewhere in the ecosystem. Logs show that each of the compromised user accounts had previously exported their private keys. A number of non-BONKbot wallets were also stolen. Those BONKbot users who have not exported their private keys are safe.
The BONKbot team is working hard to track down third-party services that may have been compromised and where users may have connected their wallets. If a user does not export their private keys, their funds are 100% safe. BONKbot clearly states that there is no case of BONKbot funds being stolen.
Previously, it was reported that the Solana on-chain trading robot BONKbot was suspected of having a large number of tokens stolen due to a vulnerability. Users need to pay attention to account security.
MonkeDAO co-founder @TheOnlyNom noted that these unauthorized transfers do not appear to be related to BONKbot, but to export wallets that interact with other platforms.
