This is the largest venture capital investment I have ever made and the most excited I have been about a world-changing technology revolution since joining the Bitcoin/crypto industry. The human labor market is arguably the largest in the world, at $42 trillion and accounting for half of global GDP. Coupled with a growing labor shortage crisis, humanoid robots will spawn trillion-dollar companies.
It is indeed inevitable that robots will replace most of the functions of humans. First in the warehouse, then in the factory, then in most service functions, and so on. Technology can develop for decades, but then hit an inflection point and change the world in a very short period of time.
With recent advances in artificial intelligence, I believe we are now in the age of humanoid robots, and Brett Adcock (Founder of Figure) will pave the way. Millions of robots are expected to be deployed in the coming years, with at least 100 million robots deployed by the end of this decade. "
