According to Odaily, Zodia Custody, a digital asset custody company established by Standard Chartered Bank, has announced that the National Australia Bank (NAB) has become an investor through NAB Ventures. It is reported that Northern Trust is one of its minority investors, and Japan's SBI Holdings subsequently led a financing round of $36 million, bringing the total financing to $68 million.
Last year, Zodia Custody announced the opening of an office in Australia, with plans to provide services to local institutional clients. Approximately 26% of consumers have digital asset investments. At that time, Zodia Custody signed asset management company DigitalX as its first Australian client, while NAB was conducting concept verification.
