The Argentine tax authority (AFIP) has discovered another crypto mining farm that was not properly declaring its business activities and that the site had enough equipment to earn $100,000 per year, The Block reported. AFIP has been particularly focused on investigating digital asset operations since its new director, Carlos Castagneto, took over in July. AFIP uncovered the addresses of three miners secretly conducting cryptocurrency mining in September, and disbanded an undeclared crypto mining farm on October 21, resulting in the arrest of 40 people.
