BNB Chain announced the launch of BEP-341 public voting. The voting deadline is July 23, 2024. It is reported that BEP-341 introduces two key parameters to meet the changing needs of the BSC ecosystem:
1. Continuous blocks: This parameter allows BSC validators to continuously generate a series of blocks of n time slots, thereby getting rid of the current fixed rotation system. This change is expected to significantly improve TPS.
2. Mitigating MEV abuse: The proposal includes modifications to the transaction fee allocation of SystemRewardContract. This adjustment is designed to change the Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) abuse cost, thereby ensuring fairer revenue distribution and timely transaction processing. (chainwire)
