MetaMask partners with Laconic to launch anti-phishing tool MobyMask light client

MetaMask has partnered with data availability and verifiability layer Laconic to launch the anti-phishing tool MobyMask light client. MobyMask is a community-sourced registry for managing and reporting phishing accounts across the intersection of social media and Web3, based on MetaMask's delegation framework. Laconic's MobyMask Caching Ethereum Light Client dramatically reduces the cost for individuals or organizations to host a trusted copy of the MobyMask anti-phishing registry. The current version of MobyMask is focused on Twitter phishing, but will eventually expand to any kind of phishing, such as websites, smart contracts, and new social media platforms.
