An insider close to Tencent Group told Jiemian News that Tencent had discussed the digital collection business, and after considering regulatory factors and Tencent’s strategic direction, it chose to abandon the digital collection. TME’s digital collection business will be warmed up in the QQ Music application in early August 2021.
