Fantom launched a community vote to reduce FTM's 13% annualized staking reward

The Fantom community is voting on a governance proposal, which advocates reducing FTM’s annualized 13% staking rewards to reduce the rewards paid to network validators, with a total of 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, and no change. Five options, the duration of emission incentives correspond to 9.4 years, 7 years, 5.6 years, 4.7 years, and 2 years respectively. As of the time of writing, 97.5% of voting users are in favor of adjusting to a 6% staking reward, and the reward emission is expected to last for 4.7 years.
