Ansible Labs, the blockchain payment platform founded by former Visa head of encryption products Daniel Mottice, announced the completion of a $7 million seed round of financing. The round was led by Archetype, with participation from Castle Island Ventures, A* Partners, Arca, Soma Capital, Plural VC, and Eniac, among others. This round of financing will be used for recruitment, liquidity and operating expenses before the first product launch. Foresight News previously reported that Daniel Mottice, head of encryption products at Visa, announced in March that he had decided to leave after working at Visa for five and a half years to focus on the Web3/encryption industry and build the payment company Ansible Labs.
