BlackRock meets with SEC cryptocurrency panel to discuss collateral and options on crypto ETFs

The theme was how to solve problems related to the regulation of crypto assets. The meeting discussed the pledge and options of crypto ETFs. It is reported that Robert Mitchnick, head of digital assets at BlackRock, also attended the meeting. BlackRock representatives discussed "relevant considerations for ETP products that support pledge functions" with staff from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and discussed parameters such as position calculations and exercise limits for cryptocurrency ETF options, including liquidity thresholds.
