Binance has affirmed that the option for Euro withdrawals and deposits through the SEPA network remains accessible to its existing users.
Earlier today, a tweet from the Binance customer support account had caused some bewilderment and concern among its user base.
In the initial tweet, Binance's customer service communicated a temporary suspension of Euro withdrawals and deposits through SEPA.
However, this tweet was subsequently deleted.
A later clarification from the customer service account clarified that the earlier message had been dispatched in error.
It was reaffirmed that the SEPA service will remain operational until September 25, aligning with the prior announcement.
Binance assured its users that alternative avenues will be established for their convenience prior to the mentioned date.
What is SEPA?
SEPA, the Single Euro Payments Area, enables the smooth transfer of Euros across the European Union and associated countries.
Binance's banking partner in Europe, Paysafe, clarified that the SEPA service will remain available to Binance customers until September 25.
Notably, this service has been unavailable to new users since June 25.
