After Trump delivered his inaugural speech yesterday, many people on the Internet were talking about why Trump did not mention cryptocurrency in his speech?
Actually, I don't think you need to pay too much attention to this.
As an inaugural speech, it reflects more of Trump's redefinition and re-elaboration of the country's future direction and basic values as president, rather than the statement of industrial development and specific policies.
In terms of technology policy, Trump once strongly advocated that there are two areas to focus on: one is crypto assets, and the other is artificial intelligence.
In this speech, not only did he not mention crypto assets, he also did not mention artificial intelligence.
But does this mean that he will not take any measures to continue to strengthen the United States' leading position in these two fields?
Definitely not.
In terms of industrial and economic policies, Trump has strongly advocated two policies: one is the return of manufacturing, and the other is to impose tariffs on foreign countries.
In this speech, he mentioned that he wanted to make the United States a manufacturing country again, but he did not mention the return of manufacturing, let alone the imposition of tariffs.
But does this mean that he will not take any measures to implement his ideas in the future?
Definitely not.
As soon as the speech was over, his first tariff stick was aimed at neighboring Canada.
If you look closely at the order of his inauguration ceremony, you will find that the first row is his family members, the second row is American technology giants, and the third row is his cabinet members.
From this ranking relationship, it can be seen that the cabinet members have little influence on it. I even think that they are just tools for him to achieve his goals. What can really influence his policies are the first two rows: family members and technology giants.
Let’s not talk about family members.
Just look at those technology giants. Almost all of them are involved in the encryption industry, and all of them are involved in artificial intelligence? And all of them are full of vigilance and hostility towards another country?
For the US president, we always like to say that they are engulfed by the financial interests of Wall Street.
But when looking at these technology giants surrounding Trump, I think that for this president, the status of technology giants in his mind is far higher than Wall Street.

Looking at this scene, I have mixed feelings.
I have written in previous articles that Trump has long lost the immaturity of his last term, and this time he will do his best to implement his ideal policies and measures.
Therefore, the key now is not whether he will introduce any measures, but what exactly is his idea? Will his previous ideas change?
If this is what he has always been determined to do, I am afraid no one can stop him. The only thing that can stop him is sufficiently tempting benefits and a high enough price.
But who knows how big his appetite will be as a businessman?
Specifically in the crypto industry, he will definitely give priority to and support American companies in this industry. And these companies, in my opinion, are both "good" and "bad" (here, the "good" and "bad" I mean purely from the perspective of values).
So when he introduces a series of measures to benefit these companies, the impact on the entire crypto ecosystem may be very complicated:
In the long run, it will definitely benefit the entire ecosystem.
But in the short term, there will be various unexpected impacts on the ecosystem, and it is difficult to see whether these impacts are good or bad in a short period of time. In addition, his own team issued coins, which made things more complicated.
So overall, my strategy is to watch more and do less, and to observe first. Don't touch things that you don't understand or don't understand, just observe first.
As for the fact that many people on the Internet said that they missed the opportunity to get rich by Trump's coin issuance, I don't think it's a pity. I didn't participate either. I didn't buy his coins, nor did I buy his wife's coins.
If everyone thinks this is an opportunity to get rich, then from another perspective it also shows that the crypto ecosystem is never short of opportunities. If you miss one, there will be another one. We just need to wait patiently for the next opportunity that belongs to us.
