To address the loss, DMM Bitcoin plans to replenish the stolen amount with the assistance of its group company. They assured customers that their Bitcoin holdings would remain fully intact.
In light of the incident, DMM Bitcoin has restricted several services, including new user account registrations, cryptocurrency withdrawals, new buy orders for spot trading, and new leveraged trading positions, though settlement orders will still be accepted.
The exchange has promised further updates on the resumption of these services as the situation develops.
