Hamster Kombat Secures ByBit Listing, OKX Already in the Bag
Hamster Kombat, a widely popular Telegram-based play-to-earn game, has announced that its native token, $HMSTR, will soon be listed on major cryptocurrency exchanges.
According to an official post shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) on 3 September, the $HMSTR token is set to debut on the Bybit spot trading platform on 26 September 2024.
Serving as the primary in-game currency, $HMSTR allows players to purchase, upgrade, and trade hamster-themed non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which are integral to the game's strategic play.
With over 300 million players globally, this listing aims to enhance the game's ecosystem and create new opportunities for both players and investors.
Furthermore on 30 August, OKX also confirmed that it will list $HMSTR on its spot trading market.
It will coincide with the project's token generation event (TGE).
While the initial announcement did not specify the available trading pairs, further details are expected soon.
Notably, users will need to complete their Know Your Customer (KYC) process to trade $HMSTR on OKX.
The announcement also hinted at future listings on other exchanges, suggesting broader accessibility for the token.
Bitget Lists $HMSTR
Bitget, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, has announced that it will list $HMSTR in the Meme and TON Ecosystem Zone, with trading scheduled to begin on 26 September 2024.
This listing reflects Bitget's ongoing commitment to offering users access to emerging tokens like $HMSTR, which is making waves in the rapidly expanding tap-to-earn economy.
As of now, there has been no official statement from Hamster Kombat regarding this listing.
However, the Hamster Kombat community did shared Bitget's listing on X.
Is Hamster Kombat Going to List on Binance?
ByBit's listing has generated considerable optimism for the Telegram-based project, with traders and investors speculating about potential future listings, particularly on Binance.
A recent post by Hamster Network on X highlighted the project's intention to secure a Binance listing, though Binance has yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
The community is actively campaigning for the token's inclusion on Binance, which could significantly impact its trading volume and visibility.
As Binance continues to expand its reach into emerging markets, its support for new tokens like DOGS—a TON-based crypto project—demonstrates its commitment to offering users the latest trading options.
This trend has fuelled speculation that $HMSTR might soon be added to Binance's roster.
In parallel, the Hamster Kombat development team is preparing to roll out new features and updates aimed at maintaining user engagement.
These enhancements could include additional battle arenas, more NFTs, and community activities such as tournaments and leaderboards.
The team is also exploring partnerships with other NFT platforms to further integrate $HMSTR into the broader crypto ecosystem.
