AI+blockchain is a topic that many readers are very concerned about. We have repeatedly shared and communicated on this topic both in articles and online communications.
The views I have repeatedly expressed in past exchanges are basically the same: I think many AI projects in the current encryption ecosystem are not my ideal projects.
So what is my ideal AI+blockchain project? Which of the popular AI+blockchain projects are close to my ideals and which ones are far away?
I plan to use the next few articles to share with you in detail some projects.
Before sharing, I want to point out this:
Whether these projects are close to my ideals or not, it has little to do with their performance in the subsequent bull market.
Because if we only look at the next bull market, it will only be a short-term perspective. From a short-term perspective, I think they will perform very well in the next bull market. Because they will definitely be hotly speculated by then, and many of these projects have good backgrounds and strong financing. They are standard "popular lovers" and "hot potato" in the eyes of capital.
But if you look at it from a long-term perspective, that may not be the case. Many of them may be ruthlessly abandoned by the market and will not accompany us all the way forward.
For me, what excites me most in the crypto ecosystem is that I can continue to find projects like Bitcoin and Ethereum that can continue to grow with me, bring me rewards, and give me spiritual enjoyment.
So what I will share next is to examine these projects from a long-term perspective to see if they are close to my ideal AI+blockchain.
I divide AI + blockchain projects into two categories: the first category tends to use AI as a tool to improve the efficiency and performance of blockchain or blockchain projects; the second category tends to use AI as a tool to improve the efficiency and performance of blockchain or blockchain projects; the second category tends to Use blockchain technology to transform AI and solve existing problems in AI.
Among these two categories, the first category is easier to judge, while the second category is not easy to distinguish. But I pay more attention to the second category, and the views I want to share next mainly focus on the second category.
Since OpenAI launched ChatGPT, we have seen the power of artificial intelligence. It is no exaggeration to describe it as shocking and subversive, but at the same time, all sectors of society have begun to worry about another problem:
If artificial intelligence like this is used for evil purposes, what will be the consequences?
In fact, there is another worry that I believe many people are aware of, but are keeping silent about: Will OpenAI, which masters artificial intelligence, do things we cannot imagine?
Many senior figures in the technology community have expressed various views on these concerns, and the European Union has even introduced relevant laws.
But frankly speaking, I think many of these views miss the point; as for the law promulgated by the EU, in my opinion, it is just a beautiful decoration at best, and its effect may be quite limited.
It has been so many years since international law was promulgated and the United Nations was established. Have human conflicts and disputes been alleviated? Not at all.
Because once a centralized force is strong enough to exceed a critical point, it cannot find an opponent and can do whatever it wants.
The curbing effect of morality and law on it is extremely limited.
This applies to individuals, companies, and countries.
The ups and downs of the development history of blockchain technology have presented us with a beautiful solution: decentralization.
Only decentralization can truly contain the power of evil; only by using technical means to shield the interference and influence of centralized forces, can we avoid monopoly and resist power.
This is especially true for artificial intelligence, an emerging force that evolves far faster than humans, has the potential to get out of control, and is now highly controlled by centralized giants.
Only by decentralizing it through technical means can we make it controllable and truly serve all mankind.
So what kind of method can make artificial intelligence decentralized?
We need to look at the core elements of artificial intelligence.
In summary, there are three core elements of artificial intelligence: algorithms, data and computing power.
The decentralization of artificial intelligence means decentralizing these three elements. Specifically:
Open source algorithm;
Decentralized data storage;
Decentralized computing power.
Among these three points, I believe the significance of the first point is already widely known, so next I will focus on the last two points.
In my opinion, the so-called decentralization of data storage and computing power is to allow anyone to provide data storage and computing power without permission------just like Bitcoin, Like Ethereum, anyone can join mining and participate in maintaining the security of the entire network without permission.
Only in this way can artificial intelligence belong to all human beings, be controllable and unleash its most powerful power.
In view of the above points, many projects in this ecosystem have Know. These project parties also wrote this in the white papers of their projects.
No matter how much a person conceals it, his true inner thoughts will always be revealed in some subconscious actions or words.
So when I look at a so-called AI+blockchain project, in addition to looking at its high-profile publicity, I also look at the details described in its documents, because these details may inadvertently reveal this. The true intention of the project.
When I look at an AI+blockchain project, I will first look at which category it belongs to; and then see if it is in the second category, whether it is working hard on the above aspects.
