In fact, it is not necessary to limit such operations to NFT projects, nor is it necessarily limited to issuing AI agents. All activities related to AI agents can be operated, such as building a platform similar to Virtuals.

I saw such a case over the weekend.

Speaking of zkSync, its airdrop once left painful memories for countless wool parties. After the token airdrop, I seem to have never heard the community discuss this Ethereum second-layer extension that was once highly anticipated, let alone anyone discussing the projects on this second-layer extension.

But when I was hanging out on the weekend, I suddenly found that a DEX on this second-layer extension has now transformed to imitate the gameplay of Virtuals. This DEX is Holdstation (https://holdstation.exchange/).

I have interacted with this DEX before, purely for wool. The only impression it left on me is that it supports Pay Master, allowing users to choose to use its token (Hold) to pay for gas. This made my experience much smoother.

Other than that, I can't see any highlights of this DEX.

If I hadn't seen its news while hanging out on the weekend, I wouldn't have remembered this DEX at all.

In addition to continuing to maintain the DEX business, it has also transformed into an AI agent financing platform like Virtuals, and it seems to have received support from the ecosystem.

Its gameplay completely imitates Virtuals, allowing supported AI agents to issue tokens, and users must hold such AI agent tokens through its platform currency.

Currently, AI agents have been issued on this DEX, but these agents do not have many highlights at present, and it seems that not many people know about them. Only the project party itself has spared no effort to vigorously promote and promote them on Twitter.

Whether this new method works or not, the project's quick action has shown that the project has regarded this gameplay as a "lifeline".

This sign makes me more convinced that Virtuals' gameplay will quickly expand to other ecosystems and be used by other more half-dead projects to "revive".

If this gameplay is linked to the countless second-layer expansions now, there will be more room for imagination in subdivision.

Doesn't Uniswap have its own Unichain?

As for the development direction of Unichain, there are also special articles on Messari analyzing whether it is a general chain or a DeFi-specific chain.

Now it seems that there is no need to argue. If Uniswap also adopts the Virtuals method, specifically supports AI agents dedicated to DeFi on Unichain (such as trading agents, payment agents, etc.), and uses its own UNI tokens as the exchange medium for these AI agent tokens, then it can develop its own DeFi AI agent ecosystem on its own chain.

And this is also a legitimate, non-regulatory, safe and effective way to empower tokens.

They can also use Virtuals to support game AI agents in their own ecosystems and strongly empower their own tokens. In this way, they can also build their own game AI agent ecosystems and help their own token prices.
