Father Convicted in Connection with Georgia School Shooting

A court in Georgia has found a father guilty of multiple charges related to a school shooting incident that occurred two years ago. According to Ming Pao, the shooting, carried out by a 14-year-old at a high school, resulted in four deaths and nine injuries. The father was accused of neglecting warnings about his son's threats to attack the school and providing him with a rifle. On Tuesday, he was convicted on 27 counts, including two counts of second-degree murder, and faces a potential sentence of up to 180 years. This marks the first time in the United States that a parent has been convicted of murder in connection with a child's deadly shooting incident.
