According to NS3.AI, this development is facilitated by an integration with DFX.swiss's Open Crypto Pay platform. Customers can spend ADA or other supported cryptocurrencies by scanning a QR code from their wallets, while Spar receives payments in Swiss francs. This initiative is part of a broader trend of cryptocurrency adoption in Switzerland. Despite this progress, the Swiss National Bank remains cautious, opting not to hold cryptocurrencies in its reserves due to concerns over volatility and liquidity.
