According to the announcement from Binance, starting from 2026-03-09 03:00 (UTC), the platform will cancel referral commissions if it detects that referrals were generated through prohibited advertising methods. These methods include the use of search engine ads or unauthorized third-party sites. Binance has outlined specific practices that will lead to the invalidation of referral commissions.
The announcement specifies that redirecting users from third-party websites or social media accounts that imitate Binance is prohibited. This includes pages resembling Binance.com with excessive use of Binance logos or related content, as well as accounts impersonating Binance’s official social media profiles on platforms such as X, Facebook, Reddit, and Instagram. Additionally, referrals redirected from URLs similar to Binance's official domain, such as “www.binance.xxx.com,” or any other unofficial third-party URLs, will be disqualified.
Furthermore, posting Binance referral links as advertisements on search engines like Google and Bing is also considered a violation. Binance’s system will continuously monitor and detect such activities, and once a violation is confirmed, the referring account will be disqualified from receiving any commissions associated with referrals obtained through these prohibited methods. Details of referral invalidations will be displayed directly on the Referral dashboard to ensure transparency. This measure aims to maintain the integrity of Binance's referral program and prevent misuse through deceptive advertising practices.
