Study Reveals AI-Induced Mental Fatigue Among U.S. Workers

Researchers have identified a phenomenon termed 'AI brain fry,' affecting 14% of nearly 1,500 full-time U.S. workers. According to NS3.AI, this form of mental fatigue arises from extensive use or oversight of AI tools. Workers experiencing AI brain fry reported increased decision fatigue, errors, and a higher intent to quit their jobs. Conversely, those who utilized AI primarily for routine tasks experienced approximately 15% less burnout compared to their peers who did not use AI for such tasks.
