Japan's Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi, has instructed a thorough review of the entire supply chain for oil-related products. According to Jin10, during a meeting with relevant ministers on Tuesday morning, Takaichi assigned this task to Trade Minister Ryoichi Akazawa. Takaichi emphasized the need for ministers to maintain a sense of urgency in addressing the situation promptly and to promote peace and stability in the Middle East, including ensuring energy security. Akazawa's task involves a comprehensive examination of the supply chain for oil-related products, including non-energy items such as naphtha, which is essential in the production of plastics.
