U.S. Dollar Faces Range-Bound Movement Amid Federal Reserve Rate Decisions

According to Odaily, Kit Juckes, an analyst at Société Générale, stated in a report that the U.S. dollar might experience range-bound movement if the Federal Reserve maintains interest rates unchanged for the remainder of the year. He noted that the market anticipates all G10 central banks, except the Federal Reserve, to raise interest rates. Despite this, only Sweden is expected to surpass the U.S. in economic growth among G10 economies this year. These interest rate expectations limit the dollar's potential appreciation. However, if the Federal Reserve significantly cuts rates amid high inflation and loose fiscal policy, the dollar is likely to decline.
