Binance Launches Capital Connect Masters Tournament with $300,000 Prize Pool

According to the announcement from Binance, the platform is introducing the Capital Connect Masters Tournament, an exclusive competition tailored for professional trading teams and crypto asset managers. Participants will compete across three strategic categories: Basis/Funding Arb, CTA/Momentum/Directional, and Statistical Arb/Multi-factor. The tournament offers a prize pool valued at up to $300,000 and provides exposure to institutional capital through the Capital Connect platform, contingent upon meeting eligibility criteria. Capital Connect serves as a bridge between trading teams aiming to raise and invest capital professionally and institutional investors seeking structured access to crypto strategies. Built on Binance’s robust infrastructure, Capital Connect utilizes Portfolio Accounts as an institutional-grade layer, allowing trading teams to consolidate investor capital securely within Binance. This framework is adapted from traditional finance, ensuring seamless and secure institutional capital flow. The campaign period includes a registration phase from 2026-04-09 12:00 (UTC) to 2026-04-15 23:59 (UTC), followed by a trading period from 2026-04-17 00:00 (UTC) to 2026-05-16 23:59 (UTC). Eligibility is open to all verified trading teams and crypto asset managers operating in regions where Capital Connect is accessible, with a minimum of $100,000 Assets Under Management (AUM) deposited before the competition start date. Participants must complete the enrollment form to register their team and select from one of the three categories. Existing Portfolio Account holders can use their current accounts directly for the competition. The reward structure includes a performance rank calculated for each participating team based on a standardized composite score derived from absolute return, volatility, and maximum drawdown. The top three teams in each category will receive rewards, including trading fee rebate vouchers and exclusive experiences. Winners will be recognized on their Capital Connect portfolio profile from 2026-06-01 to 2026-09-30, subject to eligibility and opting-in. Trading Fee Rebate vouchers will be credited to eligible winners’ selected Portfolio Accounts by 2026-06-22 and can be extended if requested by the winners.
