On April 24, FINMA, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, expressed concerns over the rapid and convenient use of Anthropic's AI tool, Mythos, within the country's financial system. According to Jin10, a spokesperson from FINMA stated that AI models like Mythos, which are uncontrolled and readily accessible, pose a systemic risk. The spokesperson highlighted that in such scenarios, nearly all existing software systems could simultaneously be affected by numerous previously unknown zero-day vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities would be immediately exploited through AI.
