Nine residents from Texas have initiated legal action against MARA Holdings, claiming that the company's Bitcoin mining site in Granbury has caused significant noise and vibrations. According to NS3.AI, the lawsuit, filed on Friday in the Northern District of Texas, seeks over $1 million in damages. The plaintiffs argue that the disturbances have led to health issues, decreased property values, and disrupted daily life. They allege that conditions deteriorated after MARA assumed control of the facility in 2024. In response, MARA Holdings has stated that it has implemented measures to mitigate sound levels.
