Manus announced on X that it has resumed independent operations and entered a new development phase. According to Odaily, founding team members including Red Xiao will continue to oversee company operations, with a focus on product innovation and the development of general AI agents. Manus said it will continue expanding the capabilities of general AI agents as an independent agent lab and turn new capabilities into products to help users handle complex tasks. It added that it plans to integrate more deeply into users' daily workflows, interact more directly with the real world, and take a more active role in carrying out tasks on users' behalf. Manus also thanked users who recently helped back up and restore data and said it will launch more new products.
