Fortress’s Burton Sees Rates Rising Further

Global bonds fell as higher oil prices stoked inflation fears and bets on Federal Reserve rate increases, according to Bloomberg. Fortress Chief Strategist Elizabeth Burton said rates are still poised to move higher and argued the underlying problem will not be fixed without a fiscal response.
