According to PANews, actor Dean Norris, known for his role as Hank Schrader in 'Breaking Bad,' has fallen victim to a hacking incident on the X platform for the second time in six months. The attack began with a tweet from Norris' account announcing the launch of his own cryptocurrency, Dean, along with a contract address. The hackers even shared a doctored photo of Norris holding a notebook with the token's symbol and date scribbled on it. Within hours, the meme coin's market value surged to $7 million, but it plummeted by 90% after Norris confirmed the scam.
Norris has since regained control of his account and released a video discussing the hack. He admitted that his delayed response was due to infrequent use of the X platform, stating, 'I didn't realize I was hacked until I started receiving texts from friends.' Last September, his X account was used to promote a fake token called SHRADER on the TRON blockchain.
