Vincent Liu, chief investment officer at Kronos Research, suggested that this move might be a symbolic gesture reflecting confidence in Solana's long-term potential. While it's impossible to predict the exact worth of the staked SOL when it unlocks in thousands of years, Liu noted that even a modest annual appreciation of 2–5% could result in exponential growth over 3,000 years.
