Liechtenstein Launches Blockchain Infrastructure for Digital Trust Services

According to PANews, Liechtenstein has introduced the Liechtenstein Trust Integrity Network (LTIN), a sovereign blockchain infrastructure aimed at providing compliant digital trust services for businesses and institutions. The network is primarily owned by the state telecom company, Telecom Liechtenstein, and aligns with Liechtenstein's Blockchain Act and the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. Initial partners include Bank Frick, Bitcoin Suisse, Solstice Labs, and Zilliqa, with INACTA, LUKSO, QPQ, and Swiss Subnet participating in the early development stages. LTIN is positioned as an extension of national telecom services into the blockchain sector. Liechtenstein, officially known as the Principality of Liechtenstein, is a small, landlocked country in Central Europe, situated between Switzerland and Austria. With a population of approximately 39,000, it maintains close ties with Switzerland, sharing customs, currency, and some diplomatic affairs, yet remains a fully sovereign state under international law.
