Digital Asset Adoption in Asia-Pacific Surpasses Global Average

According to PANews, a report by CoinDesk's Consensus titled '2025 Asia-Pacific Digital Asset Adoption Report' reveals that 24.3% of adults in the Asia-Pacific region use digital assets, significantly higher than the global average of 16.9%, totaling approximately 535 million people. The report highlights that stablecoins and cross-border remittances are the primary driving factors, with notable performance in markets such as Thailand, the UAE, and the Philippines. Among remittance users, 29% have already utilized stablecoins, with an estimated annual flow of $72 billion.
