Y Combinator Completes First Stablecoin Investment in Prediction Market Startup

Y Combinator has made its first investment entirely in stablecoins, according to BlockBeats. The renowned startup accelerator invested $500,000 USDC in the prediction market startup Totalis through three transactions on the Solana blockchain. The assets are being managed by the financial operations platform Ramp. Garry Tan, CEO of Y Combinator, announced that the accelerator will offer stablecoin payment options to all YC-supported startups, not just those in the crypto sector. Totalis plans to use Ramp to facilitate both stablecoin and fiat transactions, and intends to pay credit card bills using stablecoin accounts.
