According to Jin10, the UK Treasury previously disclosed that it had collected millions of pounds in digital services tax last year. Trump expressed his disapproval of the UK's actions against American companies, saying, "I don't like what they are doing to our companies." He added, "We have been monitoring this situation, and we can easily address it by imposing substantial tariffs on the UK. They better be careful. If they do not cancel this tax, we are very likely to impose significant tariffs on the UK." Trump believes that the tax unfairly targets American tech giants such as Apple, Google, and Meta.
