MoonPay and Woori Bank Collaborate on Korean Won Stablecoin Infrastructure

MoonPay and Woori Bank have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop infrastructure for a stablecoin denominated in Korean won. According to NS3.AI, the collaboration aims to explore various applications, including remittances, cryptocurrency wallet integration, currency exchange, and payment and settlement solutions. The progress of this initiative is dependent on the establishment of a future legal framework.
