Xiaohongshu Sees Significant Surge in U.S. Downloads

According to PANews, recent data from Sensor Tower reveals a substantial increase in the download rate of the Xiaohongshu mobile app in the United States. From January 8 to January 14, the app's downloads surged more than 20 times compared to the previous week, and over 30 times compared to the same period in 2024. Since the beginning of the month, over 22% of Xiaohongshu's total downloads have originated from the U.S., a significant rise from 2% during the same period in 2024. Additionally, the data indicates that in December 2024, Xiaohongshu's downloads in the U.S. increased by more than 130% year-on-year.
