According to PANews, Untangled Finance and Moody's Ratings have completed a proof of concept aimed at transferring credit ratings onto the blockchain. This initiative, conducted on the Polygon Amoy test network, integrates Moody's ratings into Untangled Finance's risk oracle, Credio. The system employs zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technology, enabling secure on-chain publication, updates, and withdrawal of credit ratings while safeguarding proprietary information. This advancement could enhance transparency and efficiency in risk assessment, allowing DeFi protocols and other blockchain-based applications to integrate real-time credit data without relying on centralized intermediaries.
