Guo emphasized that these are false reports and clarified that no discussions or negotiations have commenced between the two countries regarding tariff issues.
Guo reiterated China's consistent stance on the matter, stating that the tariff conflict was initiated by the U.S. He affirmed China's readiness to respond to any actions, while also expressing openness to dialogue and negotiations. However, he stressed that any talks must be conducted on the basis of equality, respect, and mutual benefit.
