U.S. Stablecoin Legislation May Advance Despite Recent Setbacks

According to Foresight News, Republican Senator Bill Hagerty and Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand have indicated that despite recent challenges, the U.S. legislation aimed at regulating stablecoin issuers, known as the Guiding and Establishing Nationwide Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act (GENIUS), may enter the debate and approval phase next week.
