According to Foresight News, Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (NASDAQ: GLMD) has announced that its board of directors has approved a digital asset management strategy as part of a new financial investment policy and capital allocation plan. The board has established a cryptocurrency committee responsible for evaluating and overseeing activities related to cryptocurrency investments. This strategy may involve using up to 50% of the company's cash reserves, currently around $10 million, to purchase digital assets.
