According to Foresight News, the Ministry of Commerce and four other departments have issued the 'Urban Commercial Enhancement Action Plan.' The plan highlights the integration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, blockchain, and extended reality into urban commercial systems.
On the operational side, the plan aims to enhance the functionality of big data platforms in urban commercial districts. It seeks to expand the monitoring scope and frequency of foot traffic and sales in key pedestrian streets and commercial areas nationwide. This will involve in-depth analysis of consumer characteristics and trends, as well as improvements in land use planning, investment attraction, logistics management, and safety services.
On the consumer side, the plan focuses on developing new smart business models, including intelligent guidance, precision marketing, online shopping, and immersive experiences. It also promotes the implementation of 'artificial intelligence + consumption' scenarios.
