Grammy Award-winning singer Dua Lipa was seen parading around Singapore to look for local delicacies all around the islands days before her concert on the 5th of November.
She first posted a selfie of herself on the Nov 4, saying
"I'm so happy to be back and so excited to kick start the Asia run with you tomorrow!!! So far, this tour is powered by sour plum juice, chili crab and laksa. What else should I try while I'm out hereee?
The British-Albanian singer posted several photos and videos of herself at the Maxwel Food centre, just hours before her two shows at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Nov 5 and 6.
"Whatever level this was- we completed it," the grammy winner wrote on her Instagram post on 6th November. She used several emojis in her post: steaming bowl, fried shrimp,dumpling, shaved ice, curry rice and pot of food.
In her Instagram post, she was seen eating a concoction of different local delicacies, including chicken rice, Bee hood, coconut juice, and a bowl of soya beancurd.
She also posed a snap shot of herself in front of a shop with the sign, "I Love Singapore."
Exploring Katong and cultural sites
The singer had previously shared photos on her Instagram of herself posing outside of Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple in Katong with a packet of Sour plum juice on Nov 4.
She also queued up to order laksa at 328 Katong Laksa.
While fans in Singapore excitedly commented that they couldn't wait to see her perform, others who saw her the night before raved about how good her performance was.
There were others who commented that they loved how adventurous Lipa and her team were for exploring Singapore's food and culture.
After her tour in Singapore, Dua Lipa will be moving on to her next destination in Jakata on Nov 9, before heading to other Asian cities such as Saitama, Taoyuan, Kuala Lumpur and Seoul.
