He announced this decision after dropping out of the 2024 presidential race as an independent candidate.

On Friday, Kennedy Jr. appeared alongside Trump at a campaign rally in Glendale, Arizona.

Trump introduced Kennedy Jr. as a "champion" of shared values.

In an interview on Fox News Sunday, Kennedy Jr. revealed that Trump plans to announce more Democrats who will join his 2024 campaign.

Kennedy Jr. emphasized that he and Trump share a desire to "make America healthy again."

Kennedy Jr.'s move was criticized by his family

Kennedy Jr.'s decision has sparked criticism within his own family. Some members described the endorsement as a "betrayal" and expressed disappointment.

His brother, Max Kennedy, wrote in the Los Angeles Times that their late father would have "despised" Trump.

No Promises Made

Kennedy Jr. denied that his endorsement of Trump involved any promises of a future role in the administration.

He clarified that while he met with Trump and his team, no commitments were made.
