DJI Appeals FCC's Decision to U.S. Ninth Circuit Court

DJI has officially filed an appeal with the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on February 20, 2026, Eastern Time, challenging the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) decision to include DJI and its products on the "Covered List" as of December 23, 2025. According to Jin10, DJI stated today (24th) that this move aims to protect its legal rights and the interests of American consumers and agricultural industry users who rely on DJI products but are affected by the ban. In its lawsuit, DJI argues that the FCC's decision is marred by significant procedural and substantive flaws. The FCC included DJI on the "Covered List" without providing substantial evidence that DJI products pose a threat to U.S. national security, which not only violates the principles of due process but also potentially breaches the U.S. Constitution and relevant federal laws.
