The Ethereum Foundation has initiated the staking of 2,106 ETH, valued at approximately $3.8 million, from its treasury. According to NS3.AI, the foundation plans to stake a total of around 70,000 ETH to generate native ETH yield, which will be used to support core development, research, and community grants. This move is inspired by Vitalik Buterin's recent personal ETH sales aimed at funding the ecosystem. The initiative seeks to secure the Ethereum network and ensure transparent operational management of validators.
