Dollar Index Declines Amid Currency Exchange Rate Fluctuations

The dollar index, which measures the U.S. dollar against six major currencies, fell by 0.15% on February 26, closing at 97.700. According to Jin10, the exchange rates at the close of the New York forex market showed 1 euro trading at 1.1805 dollars, up from 1.1779 dollars the previous day. Similarly, 1 British pound was exchanged for 1.3551 dollars, an increase from 1.3502 dollars. Meanwhile, 1 U.S. dollar was equivalent to 156.44 Japanese yen, higher than the previous day's 155.78 yen. The dollar also traded at 0.7729 Swiss francs, slightly down from 0.7735 francs, and at 1.3678 Canadian dollars, down from 1.3704 dollars. Additionally, 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 9.0219 Swedish krona, a decrease from 9.0449 krona the day before.
