U.S. President Donald Trump announced on social media that a highly productive meeting was held with major American defense manufacturers, focusing on production plans and schedules. According to Jin10, the companies agreed to increase the output of advanced weapon systems to four times the current level, aiming for maximum production capacity as swiftly as possible. The expansion of production capacity began three months ago, with several weapon factories and production lines already under construction.
The U.S. has demonstrated nearly unlimited supply capabilities in mid-to-high-end conventional ammunition, as evidenced by recent military actions in Iran and previous operations in Venezuela. Despite this, procurement orders for this category of ammunition have been expanded. The meeting included CEOs from BAE Systems, Boeing, Honeywell Aerospace, L3Harris Missile Solutions, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon. A follow-up coordination meeting is scheduled for two months from now. Currently, multiple states across the U.S. are actively bidding for the rights to host these new factories.
