Malaysia's Ministry of Transport announced on March 8 that the joint underwater search operation for MH370, conducted in collaboration with the exploration company Ocean Infinity, has yet to uncover any clues confirming the location of the aircraft wreckage. According to Jin10, the search covered approximately 15,000 square kilometers in the southern Indian Ocean and was carried out in two phases over 28 days, surveying around 7,571 square kilometers of the seabed. The Ministry noted that some operations were affected by weather and sea conditions. The current phase of the search concluded on January 23, 2026, without finding any evidence to confirm the aircraft's location. The Malaysian government has pledged to continue updating the families of the missing passengers on any developments.
