Dollar Index Rises Amid Currency Exchange Rate Fluctuations

The dollar index, which measures the U.S. dollar against six major currencies, increased by 0.41%, closing at 99.231. According to Jin10, by the end of the New York foreign exchange market, the euro was trading at 1.1569 dollars, down from 1.1644 dollars the previous day. The British pound was at 1.3407 dollars, compared to 1.3460 dollars the day before. The U.S. dollar rose against the Japanese yen, trading at 158.89 yen, up from 157.63 yen. It also increased against the Swiss franc, trading at 0.7799 francs, up from 0.7770 francs. The dollar was at 1.3587 Canadian dollars, higher than the previous day's 1.3570 Canadian dollars, and at 9.2301 Swedish kronor, up from 9.1371 kronor.
